"This property will no longer continue to be an eyesore and it will be developed in an appropriate way for the neighborhood, as well as provide additional revenue for the township," said Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench.
The property formerly stood at the center of a lawsuit dispute between Al Falah Center and Bridgewater Township over a proposed mosque. It was settled in December 2015. The settlement gave Al Falah a 10.75 acre property on Route 202/206 in exchange for the Mountain Top Road property. Read More: First Islamic Mosque in Bridgewater Gets Green Light
