Brush Fire Sparked By Truck Fire In Bridgewater

The fire was reported on Saturday on the S-curves of Chimney Rock Road.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A pickup truck fire spread into the woods off Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater sparking a brush fire on Saturday.

At around 3 p.m., a car fire was reported on the Chimney Rock Road S-curves that started a brush fire simultaneously, according to the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Finderne and Green Knoll fire departments were also called to help use their tanker due to lack of hydrants in the area.
