Lunar New Year Celebration: 

Year of the Horse — Community Dance Welcoming Spring

To welcome a New Year filled with hope, energy, and renewal, The Center for Cultural & Creative Exchange will proudly host its annual Lunar New Year celebration, Year of the Horse — Community Dance Welcoming Spring. This vibrant event brings together spectacular stage performances, interactive games, cultural experiences, and community-wide dancing. Families, friends, and community members are warmly invited to join in the festive atmosphere and celebrate the Lunar New Year together.

An Event Space will be set up on site, featuring a variety of interactive games and family-friendly activities. Highlights include the popular “Lucky Red Envelope Pick-Up” game and the traditional “Chopsticks Marble Challenge,” allowing participants of all ages to enjoy hands-on fun while experiencing the joy of the New Year season.

The stage program will feature an exciting lineup of performances, including dragon and lion dances, magic shows, ethnic and folk dances, and traditional cultural performances. Special community dance segments will invite audience members to dance along with the performers, creating a joyful, all-ages celebration filled with movement, laughter, and shared energy.

In addition, the event will offer on-site raffles, bringing surprises and good fortune to participants. Lunar New Year red envelopes will also be distributed, each containing exclusive discount coupons and special offers from participating local merchants, so guests can celebrate while enjoying extra rewards.

Cultural experiences will include a traditional costume photo area, where attendees can dress in ethnic attire and capture memorable photos. A calligraphy experience will also be available, with calligraphy artists creating auspicious New Year blessings on site, allowing guests to appreciate the beauty and meaning of traditional Chinese culture.
