Candlelight Vigil To Be Held For Somerville Woman Stabbed To Death: PD
The woman was found with multiple stab wounds outside a residential complex off North Bridge Street in Somerville, said authorities.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday night for a young woman who police say died after she was found with stab wounds outside a housing building in Somerville.
The vigil will be held on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church at 158 West High St. in Somerville.

Somerville Officers found the woman with multiple apparent stab wounds and began life-saving measures at the scene along with responding medical personnel, said Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald.
The woman, whom authorities are only identifying as a 27-year-old Somerville resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

A postmortem examination will be performed by the Medical Examiner's Office to positively identify the victim and to determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is ongoing to identify the actor(s) involved along with the motive.
