Car Bursts Into Flames On I-287 Early Monday Morning
Finderne Firefighters were busy on Monday helping to extinguish the car fire.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — An SUV burst into flames on Interstate 287 in Bridgewater early Monday morning.
The car fire was reported around 1:01 a.m. on Monday on I-287 South at milepost 13.4 in Bridgewater.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire remains unclear, Finderne Fire Department Chief Tom Marshall told Patch.

The driver of the Toyota Rav 4 reported mechanical issues prior to the fire, said New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota.
The right lane was closed for about 30 minutes, said Slota.
