Car Veers Off Road, Overturns On Old York Road
The driver was trying to avoid hitting another car when it veered off the road and overturned on Wednesday in Bridgewater.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A car trying to avoid hitting another car, veered off the road and overturned on Wednesday night in the Bradley Gardens section of Bridgewater, police said.
At around 6:21 p.m. on July 17 a 2014 BMW was driving east on Old York Road when it came up to another car stopped and waiting to turn left onto Brahma Avenue, Bridgewater Police Sgt. Kevin Lamey said.
To avoid hitting the stopped car, the driver veered to the right side of the road and hit a utility pole guidewire with the right front tire causing the car to overturn, Lamey said.

A passenger in the BMW had a hand injury.
There was no entrapment involved, according to the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company who also responded to the crash.
