BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Chelsea Senior Living has teamed up with local high schools to provide career paths for students interested in senior care, according to a news release.
Recently, students from Bound Brook High School and East Brunswick High School met with staff at Chelsea to talk about their career interests, and what opportunities they could find there.
The program is for students as young as freshmen, Chelsea said, and all communities are open to students based on their preference.

“We have always welcomed students into our communities for both career and volunteer opportunities,” said Roger Bernier, COO and President of Chelsea Senior Living. “But there are students who may not be aware of these opportunities and we want to expose them to an industry they may eventually be passionate about.”
Senior care positions at Chelsea include nursing, business administration, food services, medication management, building maintenance, sales and marketing, finance, and recreation.
