Chestnut Hill College Signs Transfer Agreement with RVCC

Students who get an associate degree from RVCC can now transfer into a bachelor's degree program at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.

BRANCHBURG, NJ — Students attending Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in Branchburg can now transfer to the four-year Chestnut Hill College (CHC) located on the northwestern edge of Philadelphia.

The “Dual Admissions, Transfer and Core-to-Core Agreement” between the two colleges allows students who receive an associate degree from RVCC to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at CHC’s School of Undergraduate Studies or School of Continuing & Professional Studies with junior-year status as long as they fulfill certain requirements. Students may enroll either full-time or part-time at CHC.

RVCC graduates transferring to Chestnut Hill may be eligible for academic scholarships, ranging from $12,000-$19,000 for full-time students, depending on their grade point average and membership in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Discounted tuition is available for part-time students and those attending the School of Continuing & Professional Studies, based on their GPA. The agreement also offers RVCC students such benefits as waiving the admissions application fee to Chestnut Hill.
