Childrens Author to Visit Crim School
New Jersey Children's author Marcie Aboff will excite kids about books and reading when she visits Crim School

Bridgewater, NJ -- New Jersey children's author Marcie Aboff will be visiting Crim School to speak to students about her books.
Her full-time gig is working at Rutgers University in the communications and marketing department, but her passion is writing.
Aboff, who grew up in Hillside and now lived in Edison, began writing 25 years ago.

"I used to write for a newsaper and advertising copy writing then I had my first child 28 years ago," Aboff said. "I started reading books to him and thought this is so much fun. I wanted to try it and see if I can write."
Twenty-five years later, Aboff has published about 100 books. Most are children's books but some are education.

Aboff is most well-known for her book "The Giant Jelly Bean Jar" published in 2004. It's her top seller.
"I am thrilled and happy," Aboff says of her career. "I love to write childrens books and have more that have not been published yet. I love to write for children, love visiting schools. I like to get the kids excited about books."
As a successful author, Aboff passes on her joy of writing and books to the younger generation. She tours different schools and camps and offers different programs depending on the age level.
