Bridgewater Pizzeria Reviewed By Barstool Sports Pres Dave Portnoy
After giving a neighboring pizzeria a nearly perfect score, Barstool founder Dave Portnoy decided to try a slice at Chimney Rock Inn.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Chimney Rock Inn in Bridgewater was the latest to be reviewed by self-proclaimed pizza expert and popular internet personality Dave "El Pres" Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports.
"This place is awesome on the inside," said Portnoy of the location at 800 North Thompson Ave.
Portnoy posts daily pizza reviews to his millions of social media followers, scoring pies on a stringent 1 to 10 scale. The videos, which often go viral, usually start with Portnoy's catch phrase, "One bite, everyone knows the rules."

In this video, Portnoy has just come off the heels of tasting DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan and giving them a near-perfect score of 9.4.
"It's coming off DeLucia's which is one of the best pizzas I've ever had so it's tough be the guy who follows a legend," said Portnoy.

Before trying Chimney Rock Inn's pie, Portnoy said the pizza "paper thin" and "a little floppy."
Portnoy gave the pizza a 7.6 out of 10.
"I like it because it is my style it's a bar pie, not greasy at all, super-thin," said Portnoy.
Some might disagree with Portnoy's rating, but Chimney Rock Inn got some nice exposure from the video, which has more than 327,000 Facebook views.
"It's very, very good," said Portnoy of the pizza. "Great environment. Looks like someplace I would gladly hang out, watch a game, have a beer."
