Chuck E Cheese To Permanently Close In Somerset County

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Somerset County's only Chuck E Cheese location in Bridgewater is permanently closing.

A company spokesperson told Patch that "based on the lease expiration terms," the location at 600 Promenade Blvd. in Bridgewater will close effective April 7.

The company is welcoming families to visit Chuck E. Cheese locations nearby:

• 1120 Rte 1 North, Edison, NJ 08817
• 2700 US 22 East 3A, Union, NJ 07083
• 145 Rt 10, East Hanover, NJ 07936
• 520 Nassau Park Blvd., Princeton, NJ 08540

It is unclear what will replace Chuck E Cheese's 10,644 square foot space. According to Kimco Realty, who leases the businesses at the Bridgewater Promenade, the space is "potentially available."
