Cochlear Implants: Criteria and What to Expect
DR. Jed A. Kwartler will explain who qualifies for cochlear implants
Dr. Jed A. Kwartler, MD, MBA, is an experienced cochlear implant surgeon. With a specialty in Otology and Neurotology, he is involved in clinical trials research related to ear disorders. He is director of the Ear Specialty Center with the Summit Medical Group. Dr. Kwartler will explain factors, including type and degree of hearing loss, which qualify a patient for a cochlear implant. He will also talk about new developments in cochlear implant technology, and answer questions. You will have an opportunity to meet several individuals who are wearing cochlear implants. They will be delighted to answer any questions you may have. This event takes place on Saturday, January 12, 2019. It will take place at 10 AM to 12:30 PM at the Summit Speech School, 705 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ. To enhance hearing, captioning is provided for the talk.
