Community To Pray In Unity, Call For Peace In Somerset County
The Interfaith Prayer Service will bring together Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Hindu communities on Friday amid the Israel-Hamas war.
WATCHUNG, NJ — Community members of all faiths will come together on Friday night to pray for peace amid the Israel-Hamas war.
An Interfaith service will be held in accordance with a call for peace from Pope Francis at St. Mary's - Stony Hill Roman Catholic Chuch at 225 Mountain Blvd. in Watchung on Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.
St. Mary's Monsignor Benwell and spiritual leaders from Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Hindu communities will join to pray in unity.
