Construction Begins On Leghorn Avenue

Sewer lines are being replaced and storm water drainage improvements are being made on Leghorn Avenue in Bridgewater.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Construction has begun on Leghorn Avenue in Bridgewater and is slated to be completed by the spring of 2018.

Construction will include replacing the mainline sanitary sewer and sewer laterals within the right of way as well as making storm water drainage improvements in conjunction with the roadway reconstruction.

The road will also be widened to a uniform width. No curbing is being installed.

Although some temporary paving will be done as the project progresses, the final paving will be completed in the spring, the township announced.

Detours have already been set up for motorists and only local traffic will be allowed during construction.
