BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Container Store will be hosting its grand opening celebration this weekend at 335 Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater.

Additionally, Container Store Trainer Greg Montoya offered shoppers some "Spring Organizing On a Budget" tips.
First clear out a space. Montoya suggests starting with one area like a closet or drawer, because it can get overwhelming doing too much at once.
Then take everything out of that space. Get rid of stuff you haven't used in a year. If you haven't used it in a year, you probably won't use it, Montoya says. And then think about each item you are putting back into the space, how you will use it and when.
Additionally, when putting items back pick containers or bins that look good. He suggests getting matching bins and labeling them or even getting clear boxes to see exactly what is inside.
"You are more likely to use it if you can see it," Montoya said.
Montoya stands by the FAV list. "Flexible, accessible, and visible." He suggests choosing a container such as a clear one that you have the flexibility to use in multiple rooms of your home, easy to access and clear or visible to use more often.
Montoya also shared a trick for clearing out your closet. When putting the clothes back into the closet, put the hanger in one direction. Then when you wear the item return it on the hanger to the closet facing the opposite direction. That way you can see in one year what you have not worn.
