Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education will meet tonight, Jan. 26 and possibly appoint a new superintendent of the school district

Bridgewater, NJ -- A new superintendent for the Bridgewater-Raritan School District may be appointed tonight.
The Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education will meet tonight, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in closed session to discuss personnel matters and then open for the public at 8 p.m.
The board has already completed two nights of second round interviews on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17. A superintendent was initially expected to be announced at the Jan. 5 meeting but due to the holidays the timetable was amended.

Board President Ann Marie Mead announced she expects to the board to appoint a new superintendent on Jan. 26, or by the first meeting in February, depending on contract finalization and approval.
When a new superintendent is appointed, he/she would begin work on July 1.

The meeting tonight will be held in the Henry V. Wade Administration Building at 836 Newmans Lane, Bridgewater.
