COVID Cases On The Rise In Somerset County

Here's the town-by-town case positive coronavirus case growth rate in Somerset County.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Somerset County saw an increase in coronavirus cases this past week. But what is each town reporting? (See town-by-town totals below.)

The county averaged 48 new cases per day in the past week, while averaging 46 new daily cases the prior week, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.

All of New Jersey is now under a "high" transmission level of coronavirus, according to the latest rankings by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of Saturday, Aug. 21. Read More: NJ Hits High COVID Transmission Rate, First Time Since April

  • Bernards Township - 18 cases
  • Bernardsville Borough - 6 cases
  • Bound Brook Borough - 13 cases
  • Branchburg Township - 14 cases
  • Bridgewater Township - 52 cases
  • Far Hills Borough - 1 case
  • Franklin Township - 95 cases
  • Green Brook Township - 10 cases
  • Hillsborough Township - 28 cases
  • Manville Borough - 6 cases
  • Millstone Boro - 2 cases
  • Montgomery Township - 11 cases
  • North Plainfield Borough - 21 cases
  • Peapack-Gladstone Borough - 0 cases
  • Raritan Borough - 3 cases
  • Rocky Hill Borough - 1 case
  • Somerville Borough - 11 cases
  • South Bound Brook Borough - 2 cases
  • Warren Township - 11 cases
  • Watchung Borough - 8 cases
