Prudential Center Will Require COVID Vaccine Proof To Attend Events In 2022
This policy will take effect on Jan. 10, 2022, for all Prudential Center and New Jersey Devils events.

NEWARK, NJ — Heading out to watch the New Jersey Devils play? Make sure you have your COVID-19 vaccination card handy.
The Prudential Center announced a change to its entry policy requiring proof of vaccination for all guests ages 5 and older beginning on Jan. 10, 2022.
This change applies to all Prudential Center and New Jersey Devils events.

Additionally, the requirement for all guests to wear masks throughout events, unless actively eating or drinking, will remain in effect.
The entry change follows Newark's newest executive order signed on Monday requiring proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for customers 5 years of age and older at many establishments and facilities in the city. Fans arriving at the Prudential Center between Jan. 10 and Feb. 9, must show proof of having received at least one COVID-19 vaccination dose.
Fans attending events on or after Feb. 10 must show proof of being fully vaccinated.
Exemptions will be provided to guests who provide a certification signed by the guest and a licensed healthcare provider certifying that receiving an approved vaccine would be detrimental to the health of the guest and that the healthcare provider has medically advised the guest not to receive any vaccine.
"Prudential Center’s priority is to ensure the health and safety of all patrons, staff, players, artists and partners at all of our events. Entry protocols are subject to change based on additional mandates imposed by local government and health officials," according to the entertainment venue.
