Crim School Evacuated After Smoke Spotted in Kindergarten Room
Police, fire and first aid squad responded

Emergency officials responded to Crim School this morning around 10:30 a.m. when smoke was noticed near the univent heater in the kindergarten room.
Principal Margaret Kerr said the school was about to practice an evacuation drill when the smoke was spotted and the fire alarm was pulled.
The police, fire department and first aid squad responded to the school. All students were evacuated and remained outside until authorities gave clearance to return to the building at 11:20 a.m.

The AM kindergarten boarded their buses to go home from outside at 11:15 a.m. All students and personnel are safe and instruction has resumed.
