Deer Hunt In Bridgewater Parks Wednesday

The hunt will be conducted at Washington Valley and Duke Island parks in Bridgewater on select dates in January and February.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Deer hunting will be held Wednesday in Bridgewater as part of the Somerset County Park Commission's deer management program.

Duke Island Park will be closed until noon on Jan. 16 and Feb. 6. Washington Valley Park will be closed all day on Jan. 17, 24 and 31 and Feb. 7.

A total of 94 deer were killed in the 2017 hunt conducted at Bridgewater parks and 75 in the 2015-2016 season.
