Deer Hunting Season Begins At Duke Island, Washington Valley Parks

Hunting will take place in January and February at Duke Island Park and Washington Valley Park.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Deer hunting season has begun in Bridgewater at Duke Island Park and Washington Valley Park.

Bridgewater Deer Management will be taking place on Tuesdays from Jan. 3 through Feb. 7 at Sellars and Chipman Tract in Duke Island Park.

It will also be taking place on Wednesdays from Jan. 4 through Feb. 8 at Washington Valley Park West of Chimney Rock Road.

Additionally, on Jan. 17 and Feb. 7 Duke Island Park will be closed until noon. Parks and Trails will be closed as well.
