Driver Loses Control, Veers Off I-78, Overturns In Bridgewater

The crash happened early on Friday morning on the eastbound side of the highway.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A vehicle overturned into the center grass median on Interstate 78 in Bridgewater early Friday morning.

At 5:36 a.m., New Jersey State Police(NJSP) Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-78 East, milepost 32.4, in Bridgewater Township.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Ford passenger vehicle lost control, veered off the roadway to the left, and overturned, said NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

Far Hills - Bedminster First Aid Squad also responded to help, however, no injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
