Bridgewater, NJ- The Long Island Ducks defeated the Somerset Patriots 5-2 in the second game of the day-night double header on Saturday before 6,204 fans at TD Bank Ballpark.
The Ducks took a 1-0 lead in the top of fourth inning on a Lew Ford solo homerun (10).

In the top of the fifth the Ducks scored three runs to make the lead 4-0. Fehlandt Lentini hit an RBI single and later scored along with Brendan Harris on Cody Puckett’s two-run single.

Harris hit an RBI single to put the Ducks up 5-0 in the sixth inning.
Mike Wilson put the Patriots on the board in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI single to cut the lead 5-1.
Wilson later hit an RBI double making the score 5-2 after eight innings.
Shaun Garceau (6-1) picked up the win, allowing a run on six hits in seven innings pitched. Erik Arnesen (5-3) suffered the loss, allowing five earned runs on eight hits in eight inning pitched. Jon Meloan recorded his fourth save of the season.
