Easter Bunny Returns To Bridgewater Commons Mall With Special Events

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Commons will host its annual “Easter Bunny @ the Commons” event from March 21 to April 4 presented by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, located in Center Court.

Families can visit the Easter Bunny in a springtime flower field experience. This setting features a garden trellis with 1,000 brightly colored silk flowers and a garden bench. A free, whimsical photo opportunity is available for guests as they enter the line.

"After so much snow, this year’s Easter celebration will be even more welcome, with flowers, gardens, and more," said Tom Kovacic, Marketing and Business Development Director of Bridgewater Commons.

He added, “We’re very excited to continue this much-loved annual tradition.”

The celebration begins with a Bunny Hop Launch Party on March 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This party will include music, face painting, and stilt walkers. Guests can bring their own bunny ears or receive a free pair at the event. The Easter photo experience will remain open through April 4.

Bridgewater Commons offers a studio photo experience, with full-size digital images delivered instantly to mobile phones. High-quality prints and Easter photo merchandise are also available on-site.

Bunny’s hours:

March 21

• Saturday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

March 22 - March 28

• Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Monday - Friday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

March 29 - April 4

• Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Monday - Friday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Reservations for visits with the Easter Bunny are optional Monday through Thursday and can be made online at bridgewatercommons.com. Friday through Sunday visits are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two special events are scheduled. Pet Nights for four-legged family members to visit the Bunny are March 23, 25, 30, and April 1, from 4 p.m. to closing.

Guests can also meet Princesses Moana and Ariel for free photographs and autographs at Bunny and Friends on March 29 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. by the Bunny experience.

Deirdre Blaus, Chief Administrative Officer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, spoke about the partnership.

"We are proud of our long-standing partnership with Bridgewater Commons to offer family-friendly activities and encourage healthy habits for individuals of all ages," Blaus said. She noted the collaboration also promotes heart health, breast cancer screenings, and a HealthHike Walking Program.
