Easton Turnpike Construction To Continue Through End Of Month

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Construction on County Route 614 Easton Turnpike (Route 28) in Bridgewater and Branchburg will continue throughout the month of August — ending with it being paved.

Next week from Monday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 16 ADA ramps and signal work along with inlet and manhole repairs from Route 22 to Garretson Road will be done. Construction will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. causing one lane to close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the week.

Milling and paving of Easton Turnpike is then expected to be done between Monday, Aug. 26 through Friday, Aug. 30 from Route 22 to Garretson Road. Construction will be done from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Here are some other Somerset County road projects in the works:

Construction will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. causing one lane to close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the following projects:

• Wednesday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 9: Concrete work at Somerset County Vo-Tech School
• Friday, Aug. 9: Inlet/Manhole repairs CR525 Mendham Road in Bernardsville from County Line to Anderson Hill Road
• Monday, Aug. 12 to Tuesday, Aug. 13: Concrete work Manville School District

Milling and Paving - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• Monday, Aug. 19 to Friday, Aug. 23: CR525 Mendham Road in Bernardsville from County Line to Anderson Hill Road

Milling and Paving - 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.:

Monday, Aug. 26 to Friday, Aug. 30: CR614 Easton Turnpike in Branchburg/Bridgewater from Route 22 to Garretson Road
