Results Of Bridgewater Primary 2023, Mayor And Council Race Contested In Fall
The Bridgewater Township Mayoral and Council races were both uncontested for the primary.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The polls are closed and the 2023 unofficial Primary Election votes for Bridgewater Township Mayor and Council are tallied unofficially.
The Somerset County clerk has not certified the totals yet. To make the tally official, the final certification of the results must be done on June 19.

Both the Mayor and Council races for Republicans and Democrats are the uncontested primary election.

Bridgewater Township Primary Candidates For Mayor:
- Matthew Moench - Republican* - 1,168
- Saad Toor - Democrat - 1,128
Bridgewater Township Primary Candidates For Council:
- Timothy Ring - Republican* - 1,140
- Michael Kirsh - Republican* - 1,142
- Marguerite Baranowski - Democrat - 1,129
- Gigi Ksalak - Democrat - 1,103
Moench and Toor will now run for the one, three-year term as Mayor in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Ring, Kirsh, Baranowski, and Ksalak will now run for the two three-year township council seats in the general election.
Currently, the Bridgewater Township Council is currently made up entirely of Republicans.

- Paul Drake - Democrat* - 11,008
- Douglas Singleterry - Democrat* - 10,959
- Donald Lemma - Republican - 8,532
- Daniel Gallic - Republican - 8,446
