Emergency Sink Hole Repair To Close Lane On Route 22

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Emergency sinkhole repairs on Route 22 West have promoted New Jersey Department of Transportation(NJDOT) to close a lane and shoulder overnight.

Beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday, March 11, until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, the right lane and shoulder on Route 22 westbound are scheduled to be closed between Wilson Avenue and Harrison Avenue in North Plainfield.

At least one lane of traffic will be maintained during construction. The closure is necessary for an emergency sinkhole repair.
