A free hands-on workshop for children ages 5 to 12 will be held from 9 a.m to noon. Instruction on how to make a fire rescue helicopter as well as tool safety tips will be discussed. In addition to the newly constructed craft, each child will receive a kid-sized orange apron and an achievement pin. This is an opportunity to instill a sense of accomplishment as well as quality one-on-one time between adults and children.
