The Martinsville Community Center will host a book signing for their recently released "Martinsville and the Washington Valley", which is a pictorial history of the Martinsville area. Books are available for sale ($22) during the book signing or copies may be ordered by contacting Jane Gandolfe, jgandolfe@yahoo.com or Al Beronio, aberonio@verizon.net. All proceeds from the sale support the renovation of the Martinsville Community Center. The MCC is also hosting an Open House on 8/20, so stop by to visit with local residents and reminisce about "the good old days".
