Fall Golf Lessons for Junior Golfers at NVGC

The Somerset County Park Commission is offering a 6-week Fall Golf Lesson program for junior golfers age 7 to 14 years

The sessions will be held at the Callaway Golf Learning Center at Neshanic Valley, 2301 South Branch Road, Neshanic Station, NJ on consecutive Saturdays, September 14, 21, and 28 and October 5, 12, and 19. Instruction will include rules, ettiquete, and play.

The program is divided into age groups 7 to 9; 10 and 11; and 12 to 14. The 7 to 9 group will receive instruction weekly from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M. with a 30- minute playing experience; the 10 and 11group will receive instruction from 1:15 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. with a one-hour playing experience; the 12 to 14 group will receive instruction from 2:45 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with an opportunity to play 9 holes on the Academy Course.

Fee for the six-week program is $150.00 for the 7 to 9 group; $200.00 for the 10 to 11 group; and $250.00 for the 12 to 14 group.

The Neshanic Valley Learning Center and Callaway Golf Performance Center is a state-of-the-art fitting, practice, and play facility that features a double-ended driving range with grass and mat hitting areas on each end, a 16,000 square foot putting green, a practice facility including bunkers and three chipping greens, and two practice holes. The Learning Center is also home to the HDGolf simulator, providing the opportunity to play courses from around the world regardless of the weather.
