FAR HILLS, NJ – 200 students from 75 schools and nine states took part in the mathleague.org’s National Elementary Championship on Saturday June 7th in Houston, TX. Competing on behalf of Far Hills Country Day School (FHCDS) were: Aakriti Caprihan, Maddie Rygh and Shelton Shieh (Grade 3), Jay Fu (Grade 4), Nate Rygh and Matthew Turner (Grade 5), Christopher Lin (Grade 6).
The Far Hills 3rd and 4th Grade Sweepstakes team captured 4th place out of nineteen 4th Grade teams.
Top scoring individuals from Far Hills were:
• Maddie Rygh (Grade 3) 10th place for individual trophy
• Aakriti Caprihan (Grade 3) 12th place
• Jay Fu (Grade 4) 13th place
