BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The demand for COVID-19 testing still remains high. Luckily, the Somerset County Department of Health and other locations in Bridgewater are offering testing clinics for those looking.

Montgomery’s New Covid Testing Site
- Mondays to Fridays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Johnson and Johnson Consumer Products Inc. property, 199 Grandview Road, Skillman (Signage on property directs people to the site in a parking lot)
- No appointment is needed. Little wait if person pre-registers: click here
- Testing is being conducted by Central Jersey Urgent Care / Carbon Health.
- Insurance and I.D. is requested by a phone snap when pre-register, but either way it is free.
The New Jersey Department of Health also recently began offering free, at-home COVID-19 saliva test kits. UPS will ship the kit with next-day delivery, and a health care professional will virtually walk patients through the tests and answer questions. Find more info here.
On Friday, Jan. 21, Somerset County reported 331 cases and a total of 2,230 since Jan. 15. The numbers are about half of what was reported on Jan. 6.
Somerset County is also offering COVID Vaccination Clinics this week:
- Senior Wellness Center, 876 E Main Street Bridgewater - Pfizer and Moderna - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 4 to 7:30 p.m.
- Mega-site at the Bridgewater Commons Mall (park in Lot 10) - all ages & vaccines Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
