A combination of strong winds and low humidity creates an elevated risk for wildfires in the Somerset County area: National Weather Service

Due to a combination of strong winds, low and relative humidity and dry fuels the National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Tuesday for Somerset County.
"Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain," the National Weather Service announced.
Winds are predicated to be 10 to 15 mph with gusts 20 to 25 mph and humidity around 25 to 30 percent.
