Firefighters Battle Multiple Home Fires In Somerset County All Weekend
It was a busy weekend for fire crews in Somerset County as multiple homes caught fire.
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — It was a busy weekend for fire crews in Somerset County as multiple homes caught fire.
The National Weather Service had previously issued a fire weather watch and a red flag warning for the majority of New Jersey due to the concern over dry conditions with gusty winds on Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday night, a multi-alarm structure fire was reported on Kingswood Road in Branchburg. The fire was brought under control in about 40 minutes.

Bridgewater
On Friday around 3:10 p.m., Bridgewater Firefighters and EMS went to a home on Vroom Drive for a report of a fire.
An active fire was found inside the home and crews knocked the fire out quickly, preventing further extension to any other units, said Country Hills Fire Company.
Bound Brook
On Sunday afternoon, a wire and tree fire was reported in the 800 block of Watchung Road. When Bound Brook police arrived they updated the alert to a home on fire, said Bound Brook Fire Department.
The fire was held to the garage area and crews were there for about an hour, said Bound Brook Fire Department.
