Fireworks Caused 2 Structure Fires: Manville Fire Officials

Manville Fire Company urged residents to be safe with fireworks displays after two structure fires earlier this week.

MANVILLE, NJ — Manville Fire Company responded to two structure fires "that have been determined to be caused by Fireworks," the company said.

Fire officials shared photos to Facebook on Monday, asking people to be careful when setting off fireworks displays.

Fire crews had "a busy two nights," the fire company said.

One photo showed an active fire, another showed a flame-damaged house.

The Manville Fire Company has more than 30 members, according to the company website.
