​Foothill Road To Close For 3 Months For PSE&G Gas Main Replacement

The closure will begin on Thursday, July 27 in Bridgewater.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Foothill Road will be closing beginning on Thursday for three months for PSE&G’s gas main replacement project, announced the Bridgewater Police on Wednesday.

The roadway will close to through traffic from North Bridge Street east to Steel Gap Road starting July 27 and is expected to remain in effect for around three months.

"This road closure is required for PSE&G’s gas main replacement project on Foothill Road," said police.

The affected section of Foothill Road will be detoured via Steele Gap Road, Mountain Top Road, Crim Road, and Mine Road.

Residents within the closure zone will have access to their driveways throughout construction.

Construction will be during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
