Fortunoff Backyard Store Opens In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Fortunoff Backyard Store, a patio/outdoor furniture and accessories retailer, is now open at the Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater.

The new store took over the 9,400-square-foot space formerly occupied by Pier 1 Imports, according to commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC), who secured the lease.

Customers can meet with a trained backyard living specialist to help with their shopping needs. The store offers outdoor furniture along with a range of outdoor accessories like umbrellas, furniture covers, lawn ornaments, and more.

The Fortunoff retailer has more than two dozen locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Pier 1 announced the closure of all of its retail stores, including its Bridgewater location, in May 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic causing financial ruin on its already shaky status. Read More: Pier 1 Planning To Close Bridgewater Store
