Free Spooky Skatepark & Concert Event Benefiting Shelter Animals In Bridgewater
Skate For Paws, hosted by BR Skateboarding, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Bridgewater Municipal Building.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A free pop-up spooky skatepark and concert event, benefiting the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, will be held on Sunday.
Skate for the Paws, which is being hosted by BR Skates Foundation, will be held at the Bridgewater Township Municipal Complex parking lot at 100 Commons Way from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"All of the money raised will go to the shelter where my friend Brian [Bradshaw, Shelter Director] works tirelessly - sometimes 20 days in a row to care for the animals," said Founder BR Skates Foundation Jennifer Loughran.

"Now with the hurricanes displacing pets all over the country some of these animals are coming right here to Bridgewater and they need homes," said Loughran.
The event will include best trick, best costume, live music, prizes, merchandise, and best in show pet costume.

There will also be a beginners' course and free lessons from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
"Every year Skate for the Paws helps find homes for these animals and raises money to care for others," said Loughran.
