Freeholder Director to Speak at Virtual ELC Meeting

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Somerset County Employers Legislative Committee (ELC) will host its first-ever virtual meeting on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. featuring Somerset County Freeholder Director Shanel Robinson

The webinar meeting is free of charge and available to all residents, business owners and employees, and elected officials. Freeholder Robinson is expected to discuss current initiatives of the Board of Chosen Freeholders and her priorities as the County emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic. Freeholder Robinson was sworn in to the Board of Chosen Freeholders on January 4, 2019 after serving on the Franklin Township Council from 2015-2018 and as Deputy Mayor in 2018.

She is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, serving as an Avionics Specialist. She is an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-certified Technologies Manager at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, New Brunswick. In her capacity as Freeholder Director she is Ex officio to all county departments and divisions and liaison to Constitutional Officers, Courts and Criminal Justice. She also serves as liaison to Finance & Administrative Services - Human Resources, Weights & Measures, Adjuster, Finance, Information Technology (I.T.), Telephone Services, Purchasing and Records Management.
