Fun Run Attendees Travel Far and Wide to Ride (118 Photos)

The Dawn Patrol M.C. believes it attracted more than its expected 800 participants at its Fun Run Sunday.

The Dawn Patrol M.C. held a Labor Day Fun Run Sunday, with riders from as far away as North Carolina and Virginia, and all over the tri-state area, converging on Bradley Gardens.

The event began with a sign-in, and coffee and donuts, at the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company firehouse on Old York Road from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. After a scenic ride, the attendees moved on to the Dawn Patrol's Clubhouse on Roberts Street, where they enjoyed food, drinks, vendors and games in the afternoon.

Club President Rob Hanlon said he was pleased with the response, especially because the number of participants was estimated to exceed the 800 that were originally expected.
