Gabriel's Fountain Closes Temporarily For Renovations In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Gabriel's Fountain Kitchen & Creamery in Bridgewater is temporarily closing for renovations this week.

"New Year, New Me… New Gabe’s? We will be closed down for the rest of the week attending to some much needed renovations," wrote Gabriel's Fountain Kitchen & Creamery.

The restaurant, located at 1948 Washington Valley Road in the Martinsville section of the township, is "optimistically" planning to reopen on Saturday by 4 p.m.

The restaurant is run by lifelong Bridgewater resident Alex Alb. Alb and his wife grew up in Bridgewater and he took over the family-friendly restaurant and creamery 9 years ago. He is the second-generation owner of this family-owned and operated business.
