Garretson Road Paving Project To Begin Monday

The work will include milling and paving on Garretson Road from Bridgewater-Raritan High School's western driveway to Downey Road.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The repaving project for Garretson Road is expected to begin on Monday, July 29 in Bridgewater.

The work will include milling and paving on Garretson Road from Bridgewater-Raritan High School's western driveway to Downey Road. It is expected to take four days to complete.

Milling work will be done on Monday and Tuesday causing the roadway to close to thru traffic. Local traffic and emergency vehicles will only be allowed through. Uniformed police traffic directors will be on site.

Paving will take place on Wednesday and Thursday causing sections of Garretson Road to be entirely closed and inaccessible.

Paving work will be phased to allow restricted access to the Green Knoll Golf Course & Tennis Center, the Fairways Condominiums, Bridgewater-Raritan High School, and the Bridgewater YMCA, according to the township.
