The Days Inn in Bridgewater, New Jersey, was a very interesting place... After a brief stay one would be left with a number of impressions -- mostly positive. As an older property, its price point is befitting of its
amenities. The rooms are comfortable, but not luxurious, the mattresses leave something to be desired due to age; however, the rooms were clean and the maid service was excellent. The main public areas were also a
bit age worn; but the staff was ever present and very diligent in their work. They were also very friendly.
The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast which did disappoint many guests. The offerings consisted of cereal, toast, oatmeal, coffee and juice. When dining there, one would finds themselves craving eggs but
alas that was never an option. The food was always fully stocked and the attending staff was courteous -- so, all in all -- it was adequate for its intended purpose.

Without a doubt the most attractive feature of the hotel was the pool; offering a large, spacious deck with a good supply of chairs. It was meticulously maintained and the water was crystal clear. The nicest part
of the pool area was that it was rarely overcrowded so a relaxing stay at the pool was virtually guaranteed. There was also a gazebo adjacent to the pool area that provided a sanctuary from the sun or rain if necessary.
As far as the negative points of the Days Inn are concerned there weren't many. The television channel selection could have been better; there was a laundry room (which at times could use a bit more attention
as far as maintenance is concerned) and there could have been more attention paid to the security and front desk elements of the operation (which can be the most important aspect of the guest experience
providing a feeling of safety as well as a feeling of receiving the best customer service possible.)
The Days Inn at Bridgewater will be missed due to it's affordability and level of quality provided for its price. The better quality surrounding hotels of Days Inn Bridgewater are roughly double the price, and the other hotels of the same or lesser quality should be avoided due to safety and sanitation issues.
We found the ownership and staff at the Bridgewater Day's Inn to be friendly, courteous, and attentive at all times. This hotel will surely be missed. Goodbye Days Inn Bridgewater!
