Green Knoll Grill Is A Favorite Go-To Place In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Looking for great food, atmosphere, and an establishment that cares for its staff? Then check out Green Knoll Grill. It was nominated by Patch readers more than any other as one of the best businesses of the year in Bridgewater.

"[Green Knoll Grill] is one of my favorite go-to places in Bridgewater. There is no other place like it in the area. This place is iconic. It has the best outdoor patio with games for everyone. We celebrated my son's birthday there and always enjoyed the food," said Jonathan Reina. "The staff are always so happy and accommodating. The Green Knoll Grill owners make sure all its customers know them and welcome them back which says a lot about a place everyone loves."

"This place has been a landmark in Bridgewater since my parent's time. It had the largest central Jersey patio and tiki bar. It's definitely one of NJ's hottest destinations There's no other place like it. The food is outstanding and I vote for [Green Knoll Grill] any day of the week. I love the atmosphere and staff. They make you feel like you're at home. Everyone knows everyone," said Kenny Villatro.

Many of the employees pointed out how the owners care for the staff.

"During the pandemic they paid us and we did not have to worry about finding jobs even when there was no government help at that time. They fed us and donated free food to us. There is no better place that takes care of their employees like [Green Knoll Grill]," said Vinny Balducci, an employee.

Joey Dichiara, son of Green Knoll Grill owners, praised his parents for how they took care of the staff during the pandemic.

"When they closed down all businesses, my parents paid the staff and NEVER expected them to find other jobs or collect unemployment. They never made them wait or fear they had no income! They felt they had to support the very people who worked for them for over 15 years and dedicated their lives to them," said Dichiara. "[Green Knoll Grill]will always look out for their own and I hope to one day take over the legacy my parents taught me in business."
