Hahn Loses Lead In Bridgewater School Board Race: Unofficial Results
Votes continue to be counted in the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education race ahead of the final certification.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — It appears school board candidate Jarrett Hahn has lost his lead for the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education seat as more votes are tallied, according to Somerset County's unofficial results.
Initially Hahn along with incumbent Barry Walker took the lead over Rebecca Hassouna and Hector Menendez for the two, three-year full-term seats up for grabs representing Bridgewater.
As of Thursday at 4 p.m., Walker remains ahead with 5,412 votes and Hassouna has taken the lead with 5,011 votes over Hahn with 4,833 votes and Menendez with 4,521 votes.

The Raritan race remains unchanged with Mike Pepe in the lead for the one, three-year full-term seat with 610 votes over Umesh Agrawal with 476 votes and Jeff McNally with 301 votes.
The referendum question for full-day kindergarten also remains unchanged. Yes votes continue to be in the lead with 7,450 and 6,420 no votes.

It's important to keep in mind these are the unofficial results for the 2023 general election and may not include early voting, vote-by-mail, provisional ballots, or write-in votes. Final certification of the results must be done by Nov. 22.
