Haunted Ghost Tour Returns To Downtown Somerville
Haunted Somerville invites patrons to take a stroll down Main Street in Somerville where history will come to life through the storylines.
SOMERVILLE, NJ —"Haunted Somerville" a haunted ghost tour event is returning to Downtown Somerville along with the addition of "Campfire Stories, Myths, & Legends."
The events are hosted by the Downtown Somerville Alliance (DSA) which has partnered with Haunted History Productions (HHP).
"Haunted Somerville" will be held on Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and "Campfire Stories, Myths, & Legends" on Oct. 29 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

"We’re excited to have the Haunted Somerville ghost tour return and add this new date to our series of 'spooktacular' events this Halloween," said Natalie Pineiro, Downtown Somerville Alliance, Executive Director. "Featuring equal parts of history, lore and spooky fun the tour is a perfect experience for family fun or date night."

Over the course of eight stops around Downtown Somerville, learn about the Prohibition era, whiskey bandits, the haunted Hotel Somerset, dance legend Ruth St. Denis, the Hall-Mills trial of the century and much more. Meet the Diva of Darkness, Mistress of Madness, Keeper of the Crypts and Ghost Writer for Haunted History Productions, Miss Cookie.
Campfire Stories, Myths, & Legends will have patrons face the fears and legends known all too well. During the course of nine stops they will learn about:
- The Twilight Zone
- Bloody Mary
- Lucifer
- The Devil Tree
- And More!
The tours are appropriate for visitors of all ages. Tickets are on sale now on Eventbrite (Oct. 22 -for Haunted Somerville and Campfire Stories, Myths, & Legends.
Tours run in 15-minute intervals and attendees are able to choose their departure time slot when registering via Eventbrite. Tickets are priced at $20 in advance and $25 on-site, children in strollers are admitted for free.
The tour departs from the front of Starbucks (145 W Main Street) and ends on Division Street. The rain date for "Haunted Somerville Ghost Tour" will be Oct. 23 and "Campfire Stories, Myths, & Legends" rain date will be Oct. 30.
