Here's How To Get Rid Of Your Christmas Tree In Bridgewater
The township announced instructions for how to properly dispose of your tree this year.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — With Christmas now behind us, it's about time to get rid of the tree.
In Bridgewater, the township will once again provide drop-off locations for real Christmas trees. Trees should be piled neatly and as close together as possible. All decorations, lights and plastic should be removed prior to drop-off.
Specific locations within each park will be marked with signs. Drop-off areas will be open through Friday, Jan. 28.

No curbside pickup is available from the Public Works Division.

- Ardmaer Park parking lot off Maple Street
- Cedarbrook Park between the playground and parking lot off Cedarbrook Road
- Chimney Rock Park parking lot off Chimney Rock Road
- Thomae Park parking lot off Nagle Street
- Residents may drop-off their Christmas trees at the Township’s Yard Waste site on 136 Foothill Road behind Costco.
If you don't want to drop off your tree, Boy Scout Troop 46 in Martinsville is offering tree pickup for a donation.
Minimum requested donation of $10 to $15. Cash or check made payable to Boy Scout Troop 46. Money raised will be used to support adventure trips as well as advancement through the ranks towards Eagle Scout.
Pick-ups will be held on Saturdays, Jan. 8, 15 and 22.

Trees can be dropped off seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., until Jan. 31, at the following two locations:
- Colonial Park Gardens located on 156 Mettlers Road, Parking Lot F, Franklin Township
- North Branch Park located on 355 Milltown Road at the lighted baseball field, Bridgewater
