Children with learning disabilities and school adjustment problems experience difficulties in all aspects of their lives as well as in school. These disabilities affect academic achievement, peer relationships, family life, and the development of a positive self-image.
The Center School, a non-profit high, middle & elementary school provides a supportive educational environment in which each student may reach his or her potential for academic, emotional and physical health. A comprehensive learning experience is offered that allows each student to develop his or her personal best. This is accomplished by carefully selected, dedicated staff working in unison with the student, the parents/guardians, and the sending district.
The goal for each Center School student is to be able to function well ultimately in whatever setting he/she may next experience. This may be accomplished by a return to a local school, a vocational program, another private school, a college, the armed services, the workplace or any combination of the above.
Center School is committed to helping each student become as self-sufficient and successful as possible.
