Stolen Porsche Crashes In Police Chase: Bridgewater PD

Burglars had been targeting the Bridgewater area over the past 2 days as multiple cars were stolen or broken into.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A high-speed police chase ended in a crash of a stolen luxury vehicle from Bridgewater early Friday morning. This came after burglars were reportedly targeting the Martinsville section over the past two days.

At around 3:50 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2 police went to Mayflower Court to check out three men walking in the area. When they got to the street a black-colored Audi and a brown-colored Porsche sped off, Bridgewater Police Captain Michael Maxwell said.

Warren Police chased the cars before the Porsche crashed in Watchung. The driver, a juvenile boy, then ran away but Warren Police Officers chased after and arrested him, Maxwell said.
