High Temperatures Close Bridgewater Library Branch

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater Library closed early at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 16, due to high temperatures in the building, announced the library.

The library branch at 1 Vogt Dr. in Bridgewater is part of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey.

Wednesday Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Thursday: A slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Light southeast wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
